Whether you’re brand new to triathlon or have dabbled in fitness, this plan meets you where you are. No expensive power meters needed—just a Garmin or heart rate monitor to track your progress.

A Simple Yet Effective Training Plan

Our heart rate-based approach ensures you build endurance efficiently while avoiding burnout. Using a proven 3:1 mini-periodization structure—three weeks of training followed by one week of active recovery—you’ll steadily improve while staying injury-free. By race day, you’ll be stronger, fitter, and mentally prepared to conquer the Olympic distance!

What to Expect from Your Training

  • Weeks 1–5: Build your base with strength, endurance, and swim technique focus.

  • Weeks 6–10: Increase endurance while reducing strength work, leading up to 7 hours of training in Week 11.

  • Weeks 11–24: Competitive build phase with brick sessions and peak training at 8 hours per week.

Strength Training: 32 sessions (18:25:00 hrs)
Swim: 80 sessions (24:26:00 hrs)
Bike: 63 sessions (45:35:00 hrs)
Run: 63 sessions (35:05:00 hrs)
